Couples / Users Terms & Conditions
- BrideSide is a wedding service marketplace connecting users with independent Crew members.
- Users are responsible for providing accurate event details, including event type, location, date, and time.
- Users must review Crew profiles, pricing, availability, and service details before sending a reservation request.
- Payments are collected securely through BrideSide using a payment gateway when payment setup is active.
- The total payment may include the Crew member's service price and travelling fee. BrideSide's Crew platform fee is deducted from the Crew payout and is not calculated from travelling fees.
- Crew acceptance alone does not confirm a reservation. The reservation is confirmed only after the required deposit or full payment succeeds.
- For events more than 60 days away, users pay a 30% deposit after Crew acceptance to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the event.
- For events within 60 days, full payment is required after Crew acceptance to confirm the reservation.
- If a balance remains unpaid, BrideSide may send reminders, place the reservation under admin review, contact the user and Crew member, extend a due date, or cancel the reservation after review.
- Crew payout is released according to BrideSide's payout policy after the service is completed, subject to cancellation, refund, dispute, and payout review policies.
- If a Crew member rejects a reservation request, the user will be guided according to BrideSide's refund, wallet, or new reservation request process.
- Cancellation and Refund Policy: Once a Crew accepts a reservation request, the reservation is subject to BrideSide's cancellation policy. Users may cancel a reservation, but the refund amount will depend on when the cancellation is made.
- Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event date may receive a full refund of amounts paid, excluding any non-refundable payment gateway or administrative fees where applicable.
- Cancellations made 30 to 60 days before the event date: the deposit is non-refundable, but any balance paid may be refunded.
- Cancellations made 7 to 29 days before the event date may receive a 50% refund of eligible amounts paid, subject to BrideSide admin review.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event date are generally non-refundable unless BrideSide approves an exception.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event date are non-refundable except in exceptional cases approved by BrideSide.
- Travel fees are refundable if the Crew member has not incurred travel-related costs. If travel or accommodation costs have already been incurred, refund eligibility may require proof and BrideSide admin review.
- BrideSide may review cancellations, refunds, Crew no-shows, duplicate payments, payment errors, emergencies, and disputes on a case-by-case basis.
- Users are responsible for reviewing the event date, service details, Crew details, pricing, travelling fee, cancellation terms, and refund eligibility before confirming a reservation.
- Reservation Reliability and Cancellation Activity: BrideSide may review cancellation activity connected to reservation contact details to maintain a reliable marketplace experience. Users are encouraged to send reservation requests only when event details and service requirements are confirmed.
- Users must communicate respectfully with Crew members.
- Users must not misuse the platform or provide false reservation information.
- Ratings and reviews must be honest and based on real service experience.
- BrideSide may update its terms from time to time.
