These terms explain how couples and vendors should use BrideSide respectfully, accurately, and transparently.

Couples / Users Terms & Conditions

  • BrideSide is a wedding service marketplace connecting users with independent vendors.
  • Users are responsible for providing accurate event details, including event type, location, date, and time.
  • Users must review vendor profiles, pricing, availability, and service details before booking.
  • Payments, if available through the platform, must follow BrideSide's payment process.
  • Vendor acceptance may be required before a booking is fully confirmed.
  • If a vendor rejects a booking, the user will be guided according to BrideSide's refund, wallet, or rebooking process.
  • Cancellation and Refund Policy: Once a vendor accepts a booking request, the booking is subject to BrideSide's cancellation policy. Users may cancel a booking, but the refund amount will depend on when the cancellation is made.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours after vendor acceptance are eligible for a 100% refund.
  • Cancellations made at least 7 days before the event date are eligible for a 50% refund from the total amount paid. The remaining 50% is treated as cancellation compensation. BrideSide deducts a 3% platform fee from the original service price only, and the balance is paid to the vendor. The travelling fee is not included in BrideSide's 3% platform fee calculation.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event date are non-refundable.
  • Users are responsible for reviewing the event date, service details, vendor details, pricing, travelling fee, cancellation terms, and refund eligibility before confirming a booking.
  • Booking Reliability and Cancellation Activity: BrideSide may track user cancellation activity to maintain a reliable marketplace experience. Frequent cancellations may affect account standing, booking privileges, or the ability to make future bookings smoothly. Users are encouraged to book only when their event details and service requirements are confirmed.
  • Users must communicate respectfully with vendors.
  • Users must not misuse the platform or provide false booking information.
  • Ratings and reviews must be honest and based on real service experience.
  • BrideSide may update its terms from time to time.

Vendor / Service Provider Terms & Conditions

  • Vendors are independent service providers using BrideSide to promote and offer wedding services.
  • Vendors are responsible for keeping their profile, pricing, portfolio, location, and availability accurate.
  • Vendors must respond to booking requests professionally and within a reasonable time.
  • Vendors must only accept bookings they can fulfill.
  • Booking Cancellation Policy: Once a vendor accepts a booking request, the booking becomes subject to BrideSide's cancellation policy. Vendors should only accept bookings they are prepared to fulfil.
  • If a user cancels after vendor acceptance, the refund and vendor compensation will depend on the timing of the cancellation.
  • If the user cancels within 48 hours after vendor acceptance, the user is eligible for a 100% refund.
  • If the user cancels at least 7 days before the event date, the user receives a 50% refund from the total amount paid. The remaining 50% is treated as cancellation compensation. BrideSide deducts a 3% platform fee from the original service price only, and the remaining balance is paid to the vendor. BrideSide does not calculate the 3% platform fee from travelling fee.
  • If the user cancels less than 48 hours before the event date, the booking is non-refundable.
  • Vendor payout, if applicable, should follow BrideSide's booking, cancellation, completion, and payout process.
  • Vendors must provide the service as described in their listing.
  • Vendors are responsible for their own transport, equipment, service quality, and business obligations.
  • Vendors must communicate respectfully with users.
  • Vendors must not bypass BrideSide to avoid applicable platform processes or fees when a booking was initiated through BrideSide.
  • BrideSide takes a 3% platform fee from the vendor's listed service price only after the service has been successfully provided.
  • The 3% platform fee does not apply to travelling fee.
  • Vendor payout may be processed after successful service completion and any applicable confirmation period.
  • Vendors must provide accurate bank account details for payout.
  • Vendor Reliability and Visibility: BrideSide may track vendor cancellation activity, booking completion, response behavior, and service reliability. Vendors who frequently cancel accepted bookings may experience reduced visibility in Browse Services and category listings. Vendors with strong reliability, completed services, and positive reviews may receive better visibility within the platform.
  • BrideSide may suspend or remove vendor accounts that provide false information, misuse the platform, repeatedly cancel accepted bookings, or receive serious complaints.
  • BrideSide may update vendor terms from time to time.
Booking protection

BrideSide Cancellation Policy

Once a vendor has accepted your booking request, cancellation will follow BrideSide's cancellation policy.

  • If you cancel within 48 hours after the vendor accepts your booking, you are eligible for a 100% refund.
  • If you cancel at least 7 days before the event date, you will receive a 50% refund from the total amount paid. The remaining 50% is treated as cancellation compensation. BrideSide will deduct a 3% platform fee from the original service price only, and the balance will be paid to the vendor. The travelling fee is not included in BrideSide's 3% platform fee calculation.
  • If you cancel less than 48 hours before the event date, the booking is non-refundable.
